AIMI Prompting for Username & Password

When opening Internet Explorer or Chrome, you receive a credentials box asking for username and password details. Once entered the credentials are accepted and the AIMI intranet opens successfully.

This is not usual behaviour as your access should be provided without any prompts. To correct this issue, follow the procedure below.

1) Within Internet Explorer, open Internet Options.

2) Then go to the Advanced tab and click on Restore Advanced Settings.

3) Next click on Reset, then choose Reset in the next window that opens.

 

4) Finally, restart Internet Explorer for the settings to apply.

This should correct the issues with password prompts when logging onto AIMI.
